Once I found out that the Empire State Building was open until 2 AM, I knew I had to go. And really, what better time than within the first 30 minutes of turning 27, with imthecatman by my side on a beautiful summer night?

I finally bought the batteries for the Canon Rebel 2000 I found at Housing Works about a month ago. It came with a perfect 50mm lens and is so much lighter than my DSLR. Each click has a perfect ‘kachunk’ noise to it, it’s almost as if I can hear the negative being imprinted with the image I’ve just shot….I’m head over heels in la-la-love.
